Good reminder. Also, there have been ADs issued in the past regarding fuel tank caps that allow ingress of water. Given the high number of “elderly” GA airplanes, it would be a good idea to check the gaskets or seals that (should) get compressed when you tighten them…especially if you park your airplane outdoors in the rain. I’m sure that Dean and his team can check to see if there are any safety bulletins, advisories or ADs regarding tank caps for your type of airplane. Dan
