We received some sad news about a pilot, and a friend and mentor to many, Carlo Franciosi. He was a volunteer flying cancer patients to the mainland for treatment as a member of the San Juan Eagles. We extend to Lauren, their family and friends our sincere condolences.
Carlo passed away unexpectedly Friday night in the ER. “In lieu of flowers, a donation to the SJPA John Volk Memorial Scholarship would be welcomed should anyone ask. He loved aviation and I know he would want to help the next generation. Thanks to all of the Eagles for their incredible service.”
